Details and functionalities of
the booking system
We are glad to know that you want to know how our platform works
Hwv.ro provides Tourist Service Providers with an online service through which they can list and promote their services to be booked by Platform Users.
The online booking service offered through our platform is free for tourists.
At the time of making a reservation through the Hwv.ro platform, you are engaged in a direct contractual relationship with the Provider whose services you have booked and you pay directly to him, even if Hwv.ro facilitates the payment. After confirming the payment, you will receive access to the Supplier's contact details.
Within the platform you will have two ways of paying for services, partial payment (advance) and full payment, which can be made in secure environments with the help of third-party payment processors.
Regarding the contractual relationship, the Service Provider (Host) pays a commission representing a small percentage of the service reception fee to Hwv.ro, after the user (Tourist) has benefited from the Provider's services. Violation of payment obligations gives Hwv.ro the right to remove the Supplier from the platform for an indefinite period or even permanently.
The platform provides, among other functions, that of filtering the results, through which any user can view only the accommodation units of interest, in this sense having the possibility to apply filters such as rates, type of accommodation, facilities or rules.
Also, after any search, users can choose the order in which the results are displayed using our Recommendations, Ascending Price or Descending Price options.
Service providers have the option to select priority promotion when they want or need the services listed on the platform to be highlighted in front of others. In these cases, the ads are highlighted in a specific way.
All information (descriptions, facilities, prices, availability) about the Providers displayed on the Platform, is entered, and updated by the Providers, through the extranet website to which they have access.
The reservation system of the services promoted within the platform, has been designed and developed to avoid overbooking (multiple bookings for the same service), in this sense any booking request sent by users is sent directly to the Service Providers, who have the options to accept them, in which case the instructions and secure payment links are sent to the applicants or to reject the received requests, in which case the users receive a message with the reason for refusal.
There may also be situations where the Service Provider may mistakenly accept a booking request even if there is no availability for the accommodation. All Travel Service Providers must honor all bookings made on the website and are solely responsible for handling overbookings. In these situations, Hwv.ro can provide support as far as possible by presenting recommendations.

1. Reservations

- How do I make a reservation on Hwv.ro
The reservation is made by sending a reservation request to the accommodation unit, then the owner must accept / reject it. If accepted, you will receive an email with the owner's preferred payment instructions, and after payment and confirmation, your reservation is secured.

- Can I save a unit to book later?
Yes! In the user account there is the Favorites / Wishlist section, where you can save as many locations as you want, which you can view and analyze at any time.

- How can I show other people a location I discovered on the site?
Next to each location you have the option to share (transmit to other people), this being possible by copying and sending the link individually or via Whatsapp, Facebook, Messenger or SMS applications.

- Can I track reservations?
Yes! All users who make reservations within the platform can track the status of their reservations, but only if you have registered with a user account.
2. Cancellations

- How do I cancel a reservation?
Any property listed on the platform has the possibilities of canceling reservations presented in the Policies section, existing on the Services presentation page. If necessary, you can cancel a reservation from the user account, by selecting the specific option or from the reservation confirmation email. Therefore, we recommend that you keep the emails related to the reservations made.

- Will I pay a fee if a reservation is canceled?
If you have a reservation with the free cancellation option, you will not pay a cancellation fee. If the booking can no longer be canceled for free or has a non-refundable price, then you will have to pay a cancellation fee equal to the amount of money paid for the booking. All cancellation fees are set by the property.

- Where can I find the cancellation policy for the reserved property?
You can find the necessary cancellation information in the booking confirmation email or in the policies section, on the property's website page.

- How do I know if my reservation has been canceled?
After you cancel a reservation made on our platform, you will receive a cancellation confirmation email. In this regard, we recommend checking your inbox and spam/junk files. If you do not receive an email within 2 hours, please contact the property to confirm receipt of your cancellation and also the Holiday with Views representatives using the email address [email protected].
3. Payment

- What payment methods are accepted?
Within the Hwv.ro platform, payments are made only with credit cards. After making a partial payment (advance payment) and before showing up at the property, please contact the host to clarify your options for paying the unpaid amount.

- Do I have to do anything after receiving the payment?
In most cases, you don't need to do anything.

- Why do I need to submit my credit card details?
The properties require this to guarantee your booking and you will only use the card to pay when you book.
4. Booking dates

- How do I get an invoice?
The property can provide you with an invoice for the stay, so please ask them. You will normally be invoiced for any transaction made through the platform.

- Can I make changes to a reservation?
Yes! You can make changes to your reservation from the confirmation email or on the Hwv.ro account. Depending on the property policy, you can change your check-in / out time, stay date, cancel your reservation, edit your customer information, or make a request. For all these changes you will need to notify the property.

- How can I make sure the reservation is secure?
After logging into your account, after you receive the booking confirmation by email or SMS, you will have the opportunity to talk to the owner through an internal chat, to make sure that everything is in accordance with what you requested. You can also contact us anytime for support.
5. Prices

- Are there any taxes included in the price of the stay?
There are no hidden fees in the price of the stay. There may be different fees charged to you by the Service Provider, but these will always be for services other than those you have booked through the platform (for example, dining, spa services or other types of services).

- Are the prices shown per room or per unit?
The shown prices are for the entire unit, unless, otherwise stated.

- What does the price include?
The amount includes all the facilities of the unit, unless otherwise specified. All this is mentioned as well in the description of the location.

- Do I pay commission to HWV?
Not! Our services are free for tourists!
6. Property policies

- What are the check-in and check-out times of the accommodation?
This information is provided in the Policies section of each property.

- I will arrive sooner / later than the time stipulated in the unit's policy. What happens?
In such situations you will need to contact the property to transmit and obtain the necessary information.
